Scandium founded in Jakarta, Indonesia, at mid 2005. We provide customed business software solution to answer the business user's needs. We ensure our custom software solution provide consistent information where the business user could take well informed business decision.

Why the name?

Scandium is the 21st element in the chemistry table with the symbol Sc and the atomic number 21. It is silvery-white metallic transition metal that is classified as rare earth element and it has high melting points. Scandium is found in Scandinavia countries. One of common application for Scandium's mineral is mixing with another minerals and turn it into Alumunium-Scandium which is used in aerospace industry including the creation of jet fighter's parts such as Mig 21 and Mig 29.

Another common application is to make high-intensity discharge lamps. Mixed together with other elements, it can produce artificial light source that produce a very white light with high colouring resembling to sunlight. Due to its unique property and rare quantity it is not widely used and the cost is as high as USD 270 per gram.
